During our last event, many of the attendees’ feedback was that it was their first time to drive on track and they wanted to further understand and improve their driving skills.

We heard you! We are proudly announcing our Driving Lesson Track Day event for beginners.

NRT Rent-A-Car is proudly partnering with one of Japan’s most experienced racing driver, Mr. Tatsuya Kataoka. He is currently racing in the 2023 season of Super GT with countless trophies throughout his racing career.

For our 2nd Track Day event, our well maintained fleet of sport cars will be available for rental to be used during the event, with Japanese to English and Japanese to Cantonese translation services provided.

Press media is welcome, and we will assist in your transportation needs to the extent possible to allow for a smooth visit. Please contact us for details.

Events of the day :

• Basic understanding of driving on the Mobara track including rules, signals, flags and the characteristics of the track.
• Driver understanding, Kataoka-san will hear from everyone what their level is, car setting, driving position.
• Full acceleration and braking practices on a slope.
• Slalom practices and time attack with feedback from Kataoka-san.
• Kataoka-san to drive your car with you in the passenger to give recommendations on where to improve. Get to know to control the car better.
• Kataoka-san driving his own car for a demo run on the track.
• Full track free run time available, Kataoka-san will observe and give advise for further improvement.

Honda Integra DC5 Manual Transmission rental fee: ¥ 160,000

Circuit Lesson Policy:
1. One car one driver only, no driver change nor passenger are allowed. Except Kataoka-san driving your car. You as the passenger is allowed.
2. Both Driver and passenger are required to wear helmet, gloves, long sleeve clothes and trousers that cover your body.
3. The rental fee of the above sport cars including lending of Sparco Helmet, Gloves, Helmet face mask for use in this event only. All lended out Helmet and Gloves must be returned on the same day. Helmet face mask is a gift for you after the even as souvenir.

Rental Car terms and conditions:
1. ETC (Japan domestic electronic toll collection system) postpaid card rental fee plus the charge of the highway will be calculated and be paid on the spot when you return the sport car.
2. The Rental Car insurance for public road vehicle does not cover any damage while you are using the rental car for this event in the circuit.
3. Any damage to the car, track and/or the affected parties are the sole responsibilities of the driver who is driving the car i.e. you. You have to settle the cost of damage mentioned without any possible dispute.
